Torn Potatoes Serves 2 per potato |

Bake potato(es) for 60-80 minutes in a 400º oven, unwrapped. Refrigerate over night. Preheat a dutch oven to 375º. Grip a chunk (about 1 to 1½") of potato, skin and all, without crushing it and literally tear it out (a fingernail helps). DO NOT use a knife or spoon, etc. Set aside in a bowl. Fry (up to 4 potatoes worth at once) while still cold until GBD. Remove from frier, salt to taste, serve hot. Enjoy! |
